These are crazy time we are living in right now, and as many teachers make the transition to distance learning and online teaching, we must keep in mind that some of our students do not have access to devices or the internet. Here is one solution you can send home to parents to keep your students learning, without the use of devices. These FREE learn at home menus provide you with six weeks of activities that students can do screen-free.
Learn At Home Activities That Don’t Require Devices
Each six week set come with 6 learning menus plus a Friday movie day menu. I’ve bundled each set by grade level, and all of the sets include a parent letter explaining the procedure to use with their student.
All of the menus include creative activities for every subject: reading, writing, language arts, math, and science. They use simple materials from around the house and address speaking and listening, science, writing, math, and reading skills.
Students are up, moving, thinking, and creating in lots of fun ways they can share with their families.
How to Use At Home Learning Menus
On Monday through Thursday, students choose 2 or more activities from the weekly menu to complete. On Fridays, they watch a movie. After the movie, they choose 2 or more movie day activities to complete. The movie day activities use the movie they just watched to practice skills like, grammar, phonics, alphabetical order, character traits, story elements and more.
Make some movie day popcorn and see how to tie in math to your movie day!

How are you dealing with this lockdown? We are trying to do 1st grade homework as teacher sends it home each Monday. Landon is bored with us as parents aren’t educated to do teachers work.
