Do you do a Christmas break countdown in your classroom? If you’re looking for fun classroom Christmas activities that are different from the rest, read on to see how I tamed my students that last CrAzy week before break!
Here’s what happened…
T’was the 5 days before break and all through the school,
My sugar plums were dancing and testing the rules!
But my assessments weren’t done, and I thought with a grin,
I’ll surprise them with gifts each day of the week,
I’ll keep it a secret and won’t let them peek!
They’ll be reading and writing and having such fun,
That I surely will get my assessments all done!
with report cards and grading, so many late nights!
I know that my students are sure to have fun!
Count down the days with your class!
Now includes 5 days of digital activities & virtual treats! I’ve put together kits for Grade 1 , Grades 2-3, and Grade 4. Keep your students engaged, still learning, and having FUN while you get your assessments, report cards, and duties all done! Each set includes chart parts, gift tags, and 3-5 matching activity pages in print & digital for each day with both “Winter Break” and “Christmas Break” terminology.
Have Students Who Don’t Celebrate?
No worries! Each set includes a non-holiday, winter themed version for students who don’t celebrate Christmas or holidays.

Will you be making this for kindergarten?

I don’t have plans for this year Sandi, but I do have it on my list. The first grade version may work for your Kinders.
