This Valentine’s Day craft resource includes activities, printables, and history minilessons plus a unique writing craft!
These quick and easy minilessons teach your students about the history of Valentine’s Day, and then why people started celebrating it. The second minilesson is about defining a “valentine”, identifying how the word is used, and then determining its part of speech.
Afterwards, take photos of your students! The writing craft uses photos you take of your students and is a fun way for them to write about ways they show people they care. Display your students’ writing for an easy Valentine’s Day bulletin board or a low-prep door display. Blank writing templates are included, too so you can even write in your own prompt if you wish!
