Holidays Around the World Literacy Centers & Passport | 2nd Grade

Elevate your holidays around the world activities and make them cross-curricular by adding literacy centers! These engaging 2nd grade Christmas and Winter Holidays Around the World literacy centers will add phonics, grammar, and reading practice to your holiday activities! Also available for 3rd grade here.

The set includes 10 different holidays around the world literacy centers plus a fun passport booklet with the center recording sheets inside.   Students stamp their passports before they “depart” each center.

Each of the 10 centers includes a destination poster, easy-to-read student-friendly center directions, task cards or game boards, student recording pages, and self-checking answer keys. All materials are included in color and black and white.

How to Use Holidays Around the World Literacy Centers

These engaging centers are ideal for independent practice, adding phonics reading practice and grammar to your holiday units, or (my favorite) a holidays around the world party! Simply set up the center games around the room and let students “travel” to different countries to practice math skills!
