Our States & Properties of Matter science unit is always a highlight in the school year! There are so many awesome experiments and labs to do, and I love to use great read alouds to introduce some of the topics. During our unit, I also like to provide access to books about matter in our classroom library to help students build on their knowledge during independent reading time. I’ve developed this list of some of the best matter books for kids I’ve found that you’ll definitely want to add to your library, too!
