The first day back after any school break is always an exciting one for our students. They’ve missed their school friends, were probably getting bored, and have lots of stories to tell their teacher. To ensure a smooth transition after any school break, it’s a good idea to first review the rules, routines, and procedures with your class. Get students back on track first and help them refocus by writing all about their Fall break.

We don’t always have time to hear every story but we definitely want our students to feel heard. This fun publishing page give students a chance to tell about their break. They are a great addition to your Fall writing activities in October and November and make an easy Fall bulletin board too.
