I found the cutest back to school bulletin board idea at My Classroom Ideas.com.
I used 8 inch paper plates from Wal-Mart to make the grapes. I scrunched up bulletin board paper
to make the stem and leaves then wrapped a pipe cleaner around a pencil to make the little tendrils.
I wrote each student’s name on a plate then took pictures on the first day to add them to our
new “bunch”! I typed the lettering on a word doc then printed them onto
construction paper. Call me OCD, but I then glued them to a bigger piece in a second color and
trimmed around them leaving a border of the second color showing. My kids loved it!
We made this little getting to know you craft from my Math About Me pack.
My kiddos used math to describe themselves to their new classmates!
I grew up in the Cincinnati area and Skyline Chili is one of the things I miss most!
After years of loading up my suitcase every time I visited Cincinnati, I found it at
Wal-mart of all places!! I literally did a happy dance in the isle!!
